All Stars Prepare for Attica, Launch New Web Site, and Revise Schedule

CAMARGO, IL (3-30-08) by Bryan Autullo - Director of Public Relations

The O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions are making their final preparations for the Attica Raceway Park event on Friday April 4th. This will mark the season opener for the speedway as they enter their 21st year of operations. The last two Friday nights have been either rained or snowed out, pushing the speedway's season opener to April 4th in conjunction with the All Star event. A rain date of Saturday, April 5th has been set to try to insure that we are able to get this one in the books.

The All Stars visited Attica four times in 2007 with Brock Mayes, Dale Blaney (2 wins), and Chad Blonde walking away with victories. The series will make three appearances in 2008, returning for the Ohio Speedweek opener in June then again for the Attica Ambush in August. For information on tickets and gate times, visit www.atticaracewaypark.com

Black Swamp Media Group has been hard at work creating a new online experience for All Star fans. The new web site was launched on March 30th in preparation for the 2008 racing season. New features have been added to appeal to sprint car fans both young and old and designer Scott Porter has put in an extra effort after the short break after Florida racing ended in order to complete the site before the Attica opener kicks off the rest of the All Star season . Visit www.allstarsprint.com to see all the new features.

The All Stars have made an early season schedule change for April, changing the May 23rd Lernerville Speedway date to April 25th – the night before the first 2008 trip to Eldora Speedway on April 26th. Also, All Star president Guy Webb has added Central PA Speedway to the schedule on Wednesday, June 11th as the All Stars make their first 2008 trip into Central Pennsylvania. The Clearfield, PA date will be followed by events at Williams Grove, Lincoln, and Sportsman Speedways on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of June.
