NRA Sprint Invaders Locked and Loaded for 2008
The Sprint Invaders will kick off their season in traditional style at Limaland Motorsports Park on April 11th. The Sprint Invaders will make their first of two visits to Waynesfield Motorsports Park on May 24th. The first of five dates at Eldora Speedway appears on Sunday, May 25th. The NRA Sprint Invaders will be back at the famed speed plant for the Border Wars (June 14th), Ollie's Outlet 360 Challenge (July 8th) and the Night Before the Kings Royal (July 11th). The North vs South Shootout will send the action up to Michigan as the rivalry heats up between the NRA and ASCS Sprints on Dirt at the Butler Battlegrounds and I96 Speedway in June. The NRA will battle with the All-Star Circuit of Champions during the Ohio Sprint Speedweek / NRA Challenge at Limaland on June 27th. In August, NRA Sprint Invaders head to Knoxville to compete against the best 360 drivers and sanctioning groups in the country. The NRA had a great showing in the 360 Nationals and the Tournament of Champions last year. Our drivers are prepared to return to the famous midwest track and battle for sprint car supremacy. The annual NRA versus 305 Sprint Car Challenge takes place August 10th at Limaland and August 11th at Fremont Speedway. The final points event will be hosted by Limaland on August 22nd. The NRA will also be participating in the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals on September 12th and 13th at Ohsewken Speedway as well as the Sprint Car Sprintacular on October 11th at Eldora.
The corporate support of the NRA Sprint Invaders continues to grow each year. Elwer Fence, Inc., the University of Northwestern Ohio, Hoosier, and All Pro Cylinder Heads return as series sponsors. Holley, Earl's Performance Plumbing, Comp Cams, and Mechanix Wear will be enhancing the events in 2008 as contingency sponsors by providing product certificates and incentives for the teams participating at NRA events during the racing season.
The Sprint Invaders have an action-packed season planned. With an expected strong contingent of new drivers joining the series and the return of several seasoned veteran drivers, the championship battle will be one for the record books.
