The Mid-Atlantic Championship Series is proud to announce a marketing partnership with George LaBarbera’s Big Shot Performance LLC. The primary focus of LaBarbera’s enterprise is a brand new Shock Protector/Saver® product line.
LaBarbera, a veteran racer who understands the need for innovations in the racing industry, conceived the Shock Protector® system out of his racing experience. His focus was to attempt to reduce the cost of the sport by preserving shocks and extending their life expectancy. The Shock Protector® product is tried and tested and has proven to save unnecessary wear and tear of your shocks thereby extending the value of your investment.
The plastic Shock Protector® assembly is easy! The Shock Protector® measures 2.25" and works with all 2.5" I.D. springs. Simply slide the Shock Saver® unit, which should just cover the shock body, over the aluminum threaded body of the shock. With the Shock Protector® in place, the spring assembly now stays aligned and stabilized so that you get true spring rating! The unit should just cover shock body and may be cut to your specific length requirements. Yes, that’s right, these units, by design, are customizable to fit your specific application requirements; simply cut to a proper length and you’re ready to go as well as start saving money. By utilizing this product you can now avoid premature shock wear! With Shock Protector® now there is a way to prevent the metal-to-metal contact wear that normally occurs on any non-protected surface.
Let’s face it, in short track racing today, shocks are exposed to brutal forces that are constantly acting on them. Now Big Shot Performance has devised a system to help counteract the negative affects of shocks usage that provides a cost affective way to protect your valuable investment!
