Ankeny, Iowa (April 8, 2008) – Brett Moffitt has a streak going in the state of Nebraska . Competing at the I-80 Speedway last Saturday night, Brett out lasted a hard charging field of 22 other IMCA Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods to win the feature event at the Greenwood , Nebraska facility. Just three weeks earlier, Brett was the victor of the Saturday night SportMod feature event in Beatrice , Nebraska during the Beatrice Speedway, IMCA “Spring Nationals”. For his winning efforts on Saturday night, Moffitt will receive his second $100 “Award Certificate” from Karl Chevrolet, the Title Sponsor of the IMCA Northern SportMod division
Moffitt’s wins along with wins by Chris Abelson (Park Jefferson, SD Speedway), Chris Wright (I-70, MO Speedway) and Luke Wanninger ( Marshalltown , IA Speedway ), gives the GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine 5 wins during the 6 IMCA SportMod sanctioned events in 2008. The GM Performance Parts 602 crate engine continues to answer the call, providing the necessary power and reliability to get the job done.
In addition to their IMCA SportMod Title Sponsorship, Karl Chevrolet also awards any IMCA SportMod competitor who wins a feature event using a GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine purchased through Karl Chevrolet, with a contingency “Award Certificate” valued at $100.
