Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Championship Points.

Craig Dollansky used his second Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series
A-Feature win of the season on Friday night at Eldora Speedway to extend his lead in the
championship standings to 17 markers over Jason Meyers.
Dollansky is the only Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series driver that
has earned a Top-Five finish in all six events this season. The native of Elk River,
Minnesota also continues to hold a commanding lead in the Qwik Liner Cup standings,
which award points to the Top-Five qualifiers in each of the first 13 events of the season.
Meyers finished eighth on Friday night after having to change an engine after hot laps, as
well as losing a tire while leading the Crane Cams Dash and another one during the AFeature.
He has finished in the Top-10 in all six events this season.
Donny Schatz, the two-time defending series champion remained third in points, after
earning his fourth runner-up finish of the season at Eldora Speedway, which is owned by
his car owner, two-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart. He earned five bonus points
for setting fast time in time trials.
Joey Saldana remained fourth in points, after leading the first 20 laps of the A-Feature on
Friday night, before also losing a tire. He battled back to finish 13th.
Kerry Madsen, the reigning Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year, earned his first Top-
Five finish of the season at Eldora, coming home third, which vaulted him into the fifth
spot in the championship standings.
Terry McCarl is sixth in the standings, on the strength of three Top-10 finishes. The
native of Altoona, Iowa was running in the Top-Five when he ran out of fuel late in the
race on Friday night.
Steve Kinser, the 20-time World of Outlaws champion moved into seventh in points,
after a very strong sixth-place finish at Eldora, after lining up 21st for the A-Feature.
Tim Shaffer moved into the eighth position in the standings, after earning the KSE Race
Products Hard Charger Award on Friday night, in which he came from the 23rd starting
spot to finish fifth.
Chad Kemenah, the 2006 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year is ninth in points. He was
solidly running in the Top-10 at Eldora when he lost a tire.
Jason Sides used his first Top-Five finish of the season to move into the Top-10 in points.
The 2003 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year was third at Eldora.
Also moving up in points was rookie Lucas Wolfe, who picked up his first Top-10 finish
of the season to move into 15th in the standings.
Tony Bruce Jr. and Chad Hillier each gained a spot after the event at Eldora and are 18th
and 19th in points respectively.
The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action on
Saturday, April 19 at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana.
