Fultonville, NY - When Alex Alberti climbs about his number 473 Budget Sportsman he keeps alive a family tradition, an Alberti number 473 on the track, and in victory lane.

Frank Christiano and Alberti would lead the budget feature to the green flag. Christiano would jump out to the early lead but troubles would strike last weeks winner quickly as his number 50k mount would get turned around in turn 2 bringing out the caution. On the restart Alberti would jump out to the lead but a bobble would cost the young pilot as the Dancing Bear John Constantino would jump out to the point. Alberti would get himself settled down and started to make his way back to point chasing down and passing Constantino to retake the lead.

While Alberti would stretch his lead the battle for second would go on. Constantino would feel pressure from Joe Ketchum and Jermiah Munson. Alberti would go on to take the victory unchallenged followed by Ketchum, Munson, Constantino and Angela Hoard.

As the 2008 season rolled about South Glens Falls, New York's Floyd Billington would make some changes for his assault on the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park. The purchase of a PMC chassis to complement his strong Bicknell chassis from last season and sharp new yellow and black paint scheme from his plain white 2007 livery, some things didn't change, the number 19 is still at the front.

Erik Nelson and Jeff Brownell Jr. would lead the field to the green flag with each taking a turn at the front. Billington would start the feature in the 3rd spot would fall back early in the going to the 5th place. Billington would start to pick his way back through battling with Jamike Sowle for the third spot when the yellow flag would fly. On the ensuing restart Nelson would slip up, making contact with Brownell. The contact would give Billington all the room he needed as he would storm around the outside of Sowle and Nelson in turn 1 and continue his power move past Brownell on the outside of turn 2 and down the backstretch. Billington would back his 2nd place run one week before taking the victory by a strong margin. Brownell would hold on for second followed by Sowle, Nelson, and Randy Hotaling.

Chuck McSpirit and Rocky Warner would lead the street stocks to the line for there feature. Warner would quickly find trouble as he would spin in turn 3 along with the 71 of Rob VanAernam.. Last weeks winner Dave Bayes would inherit a front row spot on the restart and would pressure McSpirit for the top spot finally taking it away. McSpirit would try his best to get back by Bayes but would run out of time. Bayes would take the victory followed by McSpirit. Rocky Warner would charge back through the field to finish 3rd followed by VanAernam and Brian Cosselman.

Chris Andrew and Ken Hollenbeck would lead the Cruiser feature down to start their feature. Bobby Rhinehardt would quickly put pressure on the 11R of Hollenbeck for the lead from his 3rd starting spot while Andrew held on to the third spot. Starting scratch on the field, last weeks winner Kerry Hollenbeck was on the charge making his way back to the third spot when trouble would strike. Coming through turns 3 and 4 Rhinehardt would slip high catching a piece of the outside wall leaving Hollenbeck no place to go as he glanced off the side of Rhinehardt's number 618 sustaining front end damage and ending his race while Rhinehardt would continue on in the 2nd position. As the laps wound down Andrew would ride patiently in third as Rhinehardt and Ken Hollenbeck would do battle opening the door for the patient Andrew who would slip by to take the lead and the victory. Ken Hollenbeck would be second followed by Rhinehardt, Pat McSpirit, and Jamie Warner.

The enduro event victory was taken by Kyle Hoffman. Rick Taylor was second followed by Laurie Fallis, Scott Lucky, and Trevor Gavin.
