ˇ§Not being able to qualify definitely hurt us on Saturday. We had been working on our set-ups in practice and losing that time on the track due to rain didnˇ¦t help. We had a good heat race. Our Chevy engines were running really well and we were able to win the heat. In the feature, it was extremely hard to pass and I ran out of time. We would have liked to have moved forward and get another top-10 or top-five finish for Chevy and Bass Pro Shops. Weˇ¦ll work all week in the shop and try to put the No. 20 in victory lane for the first time this year at Gas City and Winchester this weekend.ˇ¨

ˇ§The rain that hit right before qualifying washed away quite a bit of the rubber from the track and we had to adjust our set-up accordingly when we went back out. I think we would have had a shot at setting quick time had qualifying not been rained out. We had definitely been scrubbing tires and working on combinations in practice before the rain hit. The Chevy engines were running well and we were at a good place in practice.
ˇ§As I expected it to happen, the track became a one-groove circuit after the rain came. There wasnˇ¦t much rubber left and we had to adjust to it as the night went on. The guys in the top-five finished exactly where they started the race from. There wasnˇ¦t a lot of passing in the feature. We would have liked to put Chevy and Bass Pro Shops in the winnerˇ¦s circle and weˇ¦ll work to do that this weekend at Gas City and Winchester.ˇ¨
