OREILLY USMTS NATIONAL TOUR EVENTS AT LASALLE, EAST MOLINE RESCHEDULED FOR MAY 31-JUNE 1; WORTHINGTON MOVED TO JUNE 29
MILAN, Ill. (April 15) The OReilly USMTS National Tour events that were rained out on April 12-13 at the LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway and Quad City Raceway in East Moline, Ill., have been rescheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 31 and June 1, USMTS officials announced today.
With the shuffling of dates, the OReilly USMTS National Tour event slated for June 1 at the Nobles County Speedway in Worthington, Minn., has been pushed ahead to Sunday, June 29.
SATURDAY, MAY 31 - LASALLE SPEEDWAY
First-year LaSalle Speedway promoter Brian Stuart is expecting a huge field of heavy-hitters for this event as local hotshoes Jeff Leka, Chad Kinder and others try to defend their home turf against the Best of the Best in Modified racing. Also on the racing card will be Midwestern Late Models, UMP Street Stocks and UMP Four-Cylinders accompanying $2,000-to-win USMTS headline event.
Pit gates will open at 3 p.m., grandstand tickets go on sale at 4 p.m., hot laps begin at 5:30 and the first heat race is at 6 p.m.

SUNDAY, JUNE 1 - QUAD CITY RACEWAY
A packed house looked on last year as Kelly Shryock held off Chad Kinder and Brad Pinkerton to win the inaugural Spring Clash at the Quad City Raceway in East Moline, Ill. This year's event is sure to provide even more wheel-to-wheel action as OReilly USMTS National Tour superstars fight for valuable Central States Region points while local aces like Donovan Lodge and Jeff Morris eye their first USMTS victory.
The USMTS Modifieds will be battling for another $2,000 top prize. Also on the racing card will be UMP Street Stocks and UMP Four-Cylinders.
Pit gates will open at 3 p.m. while the grandstands open at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5:30 and the first green flag is slated to wave at 6 p.m.

SUNDAY, JUNE 29 - NOBLES COUNTY SPEEDWAY
The moving of the date at the Nobles County Speedway fits well with the races already scheduled in the area. The OReilly USMTS National Tour will be at the Buena Vista Raceway in Alta, Iowa, on June 24; Husets Speedway in Brandon, S.D., on June 25; Casino Speedway in Watertown, S.D., on June 26; Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, on June 27; and then at Worthington on the 29th of June.
Officials are currently in discussions with another area racetrack to fill the Saturday, June 28, open date.
The Nobles County Speedway is a semi-banked quarter-mile clay oval located off of I-90 at Exit 43, then 0.4 mile south on SR 59, then 0.4 mile west on Oxford St., then 0.2 mile north on McMullan (Pioneer Village).
