Second Annual World of Outlaws Benevolent Fund Golf Outing Set for July 10

Concord, NC— April 15, 2008--By: Tony Veneziano, World of Outlaws PR Director

The second annual World of Outlaws Benevolent Fund Golf Outing is set for July 10 at Meadowbrook Country Club in Dayton, Ohio.

The cost of the outing will be $100 for participants, with golfers being paired with an Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series driver. Each driver participating will be part of the group for the entire 18 holes. The format will be a best-ball scramble, with a lottery-style draw being used to determine who each player will play with. The entry deadline for those who will be golfing is June 15.

For golfers, the entry fee will also cover a dinner to be held after the outing, as well as gifts that each participant will receive. All proceeds will go to the World of Outlaws Benevolent Fund to help continue the dedicated work that they do for the sport.

The World of Outlaws Benevolent Fund has been helping injured drivers and their families during the recovery process for over 25 years.

A silent auction will take place during the dinner as well, with various items from Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers available for bidding. For those who cannot make it to the golf portion of the day, tickets for the dinner are $40. The check-in for golfers will begin at Noon Eastern, with a shotgun start slated for 1 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6 p.m.

For more information on the golf outing, as well for businesses that are interested in sponsoring a hole, contact: Mandy Pittman, the Tournament Liaison at darynpittman@yahoo.com.

Meadowbrook Country Club is located in Dayton, Ohio, one mile off of I-70 & I-75.
