MIDDLETOWN, NY (April 20)……..Get ready for excitement, get ready for speed, get ready for two great nights of racing! Circle the days, Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, that’s when Orange County Fair Speedway presents back-to-back nights of high speed racing on the five-eighths-mile Middletown , New York Hard Clay race track.
On Saturday, the big-block Modifieds headline a four division program of qualifying and feature races presented by Johnson Ford, the Times Herald Record, and WWNJ 103.1 FM. And the n on Sunday, the Outlaws are coming! Johnson Ford and WRWD 107.3 and 99.3 FM present the Advance Auto Parts/Quaker State Oil World of Outlaw sprint cars and Orange County ’s DIRTcar 358 Modifieds in a second night of action on the big Orange County oval.
Adding to the excitement is the E. Tetz & Sons $5,000 Challenge, a five grand bonus above the Outlaws’ $10,000 first place prize money if a non-registered Outlaw driver wins the feature race. With that kind of money on tap, it’s sure to entice several Pennsylvania Posse and o the r independent sprint car drivers to make the tow to Middletown . And the re’s a good chance one or more of the Outlaws will be behind the wheel of a Modified on Saturday night!
General admission tickets for the World of Outlaws program are $37 while the Saturday race meet adult admission is $17. Here’s the good news: the re’s a special two-day $40 ticket available that includes a reserved seat for the Sunday Outlaws and a general admission ticket for Saturday’s weekly program. These special two-day tickets must be purchased in advance.
