After the show the eight machines along with several others made their way to the track for a test and tune session. The practice session proved to be a positive sign of the year to come. There were more cars at the session then there had ever been in the past. Owner and Promoter Barry Matthews stated that he was amazed at the response of all the different teams that showed up to tune their 2008 rides. There were many familiar teams but there was also many new ones.
