Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series At a Glance: Missouri High Bank Nationals at U.S. 36 Raceway & Knoxville Raceway

WHAT
A weekend of polar opposites is on-tap for the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, as they visit one of the smallest tracks on the schedule, U.S. 36 Raceway in Missouri on Friday, May 2, followed by a stop at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Iowa on Saturday, May 3, one of most spacious tracks on the circuit. The high-banked U.S. 36 Raceway is one of just two tracks that the series competes at, in which the competitors turn sub-10 second laps, while at Knoxville Raceway, the drivers reach some of their highest speeds all season on the two long straight-a-ways and the sweeping turns. The two races begin a busy month of May for the series that will see 13 events contested at 12 different tracks over a 29 day period.
WHEN
On Friday, May 2 at U.S. 36 Raceway, the Pit Gates will open 2:00 p.m. Central, while the Grandstand Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. Central and Hot Laps are tentatively set for 6:30 p.m. Central.
On Saturday, April 26 at Knoxville Raceway, the Pit Gates will open 4 p.m. Central, while the Grandstand Gates will open at 6 p.m. Central and Hot Laps are tentatively set for 6:45 p.m. Central with time trials to follow.
WHERE
US 36 Raceway is located in Osborn, Missouri. From I-35, travel on U.S. 36 West approx. 7 miles and turn North on State Route 33 and the track will be on the right.
Knoxville Raceway is located in Knoxville, Iowa, at the north edge of town on State Road 14 (located on the Marion County Fairgrounds).
TICKETS
On Friday, May 2, seats in the Main grandstand - Sections A-B-C-D
Rows - 20 & 21, will be $40 (Includes pit pass/combo), with seats in Rows - 6 thru 19 $35 and seats in Rows - 1 thru 5 $30. Reserved tickets for children 12-under will be $15.
Tickets in the Top Bleachers- Sections AA - BB CC will be $32 for adults and $15 for kids 12-under. Pit Pass combos will also be available for $38 in advance and $40 the day of the race.

Knoxville Raceway is a semi-banked 1/2-mile oval. The track record of 14.407 seconds was established by Brooke Tatnell on May 6, 2006.
