Ankeny, Iowa (April 28, 2008) – After winning the opening night SportMod feature at Buena Vista Raceway, Meyer made it two feature wins for the week, driving his Team Harris / GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine powered IMCA Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod to victory, Saturday night, April 26th, at the Boone (Iowa) Speedway. Thirty-Three SportMods were on hand qualifying through four heats and a “B” feature for the 24 car “A” feature field. From his third row inside starting position Meyer raced to the front to continue his winning ways for the week. In addition to his winnings, Meyer will also receive his second $100 “Award Certificate” from IMCA Northern SportMod Title Sponsor, Karl Chevrolet in as many nights.
With his Saturday night win, Meyer becomes the first two time recipient of the $100 “Award Certificate” from Karl Chevrolet. In addition to their IMCA SportMod Title Sponsorship, Karl Chevrolet also awards any IMCA SportMod competitor who wins a feature event using a GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine purchased through Karl Chevrolet, with a contingency “Award Certificate” valued at $100.
