Provence Motorsports 2008 Racing Season Plans

Posted by Tom Ames | 04/30/08

(Hensley, Arkansas) Provence Motorsports is proud to announce that the youngest member of the team, hot shoe young gun racer Lynnsee Provence who pilots the #F27 Pro by Tim powered by Proven Motors Open Wheel Modified, will soon be climbing behind the wheel of the #F27 GRT powered by Proven Motors Super Late Model. Plans include racing in the Arkansas Motorsports Professionals Late Model Series in the Super Late Model, while continuing to race the Open Wheel Modified in races around the region.

"I'm really excited to be getting a chance to race a late model. It will take some learning, and getting used to, but I think that we will have a fast car and will be competative." said Lynnsee Provence when asked about making the move to Super Late Model.

Lynnsee is the nephew of Central Arkansas racer "Fast" Eddie Provence, a person who he gives a lot of credit to in helping him learn how to drive. "I learned what I know by watching Uncle Eddie, then applying what I learned in the pits watching him once I got behind the wheel." said Lynnsee Provence.

This move will add one more car to the Provence Motorsports race team. "Fast" Eddie Provence will be racing a 2004 Pro by Tim Open Wheel Modified powered by Proven Motors in the coming weeks while continuing to work on getting himself a Late Model ready for competition.

"I've got everything to put this mod together and get out there and race. It would take me another month to get the Late Model ready, which is why we are putting Lynnsee in it now. He is set and ready to go with a little work. I plan on getting a Late Model on the track within the next couple of months." stated Eddie Provence when talking about the teams plans.
