Posted by Late Model Editor  |  05/01/08

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will continues its aggressive internet broadcast schedule this weekend at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway as both nights of the 3rd Annual "99" will be broadcast live on www.RaceTalkLive.com and www.LucasDirt.com.

After nearly one million listeners during the Florida WinterNationals at East Bay Raceway Park, the live audio broadcasts of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series action will pick up again this weekend at Sherri Heckenast's Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway. The 3rd Annual "99" will see two complete programs for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series each night with time trials, heat races, b-mains, and a feature event paying $9,999 to win each night. The pit gates will open at Noon both days with the grandstand gates opening at 4:00pm each afternoon, and a scheduled race time of 7:00pm each night.

"It's an honor for me to be the 'eyes and ears' of the folks who can't make it out to this event," said Dustin Jarrett, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Internet Broadcast Coordinator. "Kentucky Lake is a first class facility and Sherri has done an excellent job in putting this race on the map."

"We're really thankful that Sherri is allowing us to bring both nights of racing into the homes of the ones who can't be here," stated Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Director Ritchie Lewis. "Sherri and her staff work really hard to have an outstanding facility and great racing, and we're honored to be a part of that."

The live broadcast both Friday and Saturday night will begin at 8:00pm eastern, 7:00pm central on www.RaceTalkLive.com and www.LucasDirt.com. As always, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Internet Broadcast Coordinator Dustin "DJ" Jarrett will be calling the action.
