Limaland Cancels May 2 Race Event

After persistent heavy rain showers Friday morning, Limaland Motorsports Park has cancelled the Run for the Rabbit race scheduled for Friday, May 2. The memorial race honoring former sprint car driver Travis Miller will be rescheduled for Friday, June 13.

Next week's race event is the Late Model Mania. The ALMS Late Models will be making their first and only appearance at Limaland in 2008 on Friday, May 9.

Joining the late models will be the Professional Computer Company UMP Modifieds and Bud Thunderstocks on the famed high-banked bullring.

Pit gates will open at 4:00 pm followed by the grandstand gates at 5:00 pm.

Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 with racing action to begin at 7:30.
