Gaerte tabs two IMCA Modified drivers for 2009 house carburetor program

ROCHESTER, Ind. (May 2) – Their finish in the 2008 national point
standings will pay off next season for two IMCA Modified drivers
competing with a Gaerte Fuel Systems carburetor

Gaerte, manufacturer of the official carburetor for IMCA, will enroll
the top two eligible drivers based on fi nal national standings in
its house carburetor program for 2009.

The Rochester, Ind., company will also award $100 product
certificates, good toward the purchase of a new carburetor, to the
top eligible driver in each of the five Modified regions.

Drivers are again required to return a sign-up sheet by Aug. 1 and
display two Gaerte decals on their race car to be eligible.

“I hope all Gaerte customers make themselves eligible for not only
regional certificates, but the house car buretor program as well,”
IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Chris Alcorn and Chris
Bragg are on the program this season and it could be two completely
different drivers in 2009.”
