VERNON, NY- With the Dart Machinery Race of Champions Dart Dirt Series Victoria 200 just over a week away, special bonuses have been added to the already exciting event. With a posted $10,000 winner’s share for the May 11 event, the added awards, courtesy of Dart Machinery, will add even more to the lucrative race.
The Best Appearing Car/Team will receive a certificate for one set of Dart Steel Valve Covers while the Top Crew Chief will receive a certificate for one Dart SBC Intake Manifold. Also, the event’s Hard Charger will get a certificate redeemable for one set of Bare Dart SBC Iron Eagle Cylinder Platinum Heads with the recipient of the Hard Luck Award will receive the same certificate.
In last year’s season ending New Yorker 200, Rich Ricci won a free set of Dart Heads in a random draw at the end of the event.
Another bonus that will return for the Victoria 200 will be a $1,000 bonus given out to a random driver in positions 11th on back that finish the event. Frankie Caprara won the draw last year, giving him a whopping $2,000 for a 17th place finish.
The Victoria 200 will get underway at 2 p.m. on Sunday May 11 with a huge field of sail paneled clad Big Block/Small Block Modifieds vying for the $10,000 top prize. Starting the event will pay a cool grand. Also on tap will be the Pro Stocks who will battle for a $1,200 winner’s check.
