Susquehanna, PA… In a joint announcement by Shaun Burke of Burke Trucking, Penn Can Speedway, and Five Mile Point Speedway, extra money has been added to the ARDC Midget purse for the two events scheduled for Memorial Day weekend at the two area speedways. With Burke Trucking coming on board the popular ARDC Midget races held that weekend will pay the winner a handsome $1000 for their winning efforts. Money will also be rewarded to the second and third place finishers in each event as well with Burke Trucking coming up with an extra $50 for those finishers.
“We are pleased to step forward and sponsor these two events,” states Burke. “Hopefully this little incentive will bring a stellar field of midgets to the two fine racing facilities over the Memorial Day Weekend.”

Joining the ARDC Midgets at Penn Can Speedway Friday May 23th will be the mighty modifieds, sportsman, super stocks, and four cylinder modifieds. Gates open at 5:00 with racing at 7:15 . At Five Mile Point the following night the modifieds, sportsman, pure stocks, IMCA modifieds, and Lightning Cats will all be in action. Gates will open at 4:00 with racing scheduled at 6:00 .
