Forestville, PA – May 5, 2008 – This Sunday May 11 the Big Diamond Raceway will present race number one of the Naftzinger’s Used Auto Parts/Detweiler’s 24 Hour Towing Nutty Buddy Enduro Series. The original Enduro season opener on April 20 was rained-out, so competitors are anxiously awaiting this weekend’s festivities.
Three big races will be held including a 6/8 Cylinder Enduro, 4 Cylinder Enduro and a Powder Puff race.
Last season Chris Reichert of Orwigsburg and Mike Reichert of New Ringgold each earned a pair of 6/8 cylinder enduro victories. Keith Owens of Auburn also reached victory lane. The four cylinder winners included: Jeff Sheetz of Macungie (two wins), Billy Price Jr. of Luzerne (two wins) and Kevin Holland of Pine Grove. Jonann Cromyak won last year’s Powder Puff over Jody Brensinger and Christine Detweiler.
For Sunday’s racing card, pit gates open at 1:30PM, spectator gates at 3:00PM and the Enduros begin at 5:00PM. Adult General Admission for this event is just $5.
