World of Outlaws Event at Paducah Postponed by Rain



Paducah, KY— May 10, 2008— With the third heat race staged and ready to roll onto the track, the skies opened and rain forced the postponement of the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series race at Paducah International Raceway on Saturday night.



A rescheduled date for the event will be announced shortly. By way of Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series rules, the event will be started completely over with time trials and heat races when it is made up.



Chad Kemenah began Saturday night by setting fast time with a lap of 13.471 seconds, while wins in the first two heats races went to Jason Meyers and Joey Saldana.



The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action on Tuesday, May 13 with the First Commonwealth Bank Clash at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania.
