Redline fell victim to the first rainout of 2008 on Friday May 9th. The track officials decided early on in the day that racing would have to be halted for the evening.
This Friday evening it will be People's State Bank night at the raceway. Racing warm ups will begin at 7 with the qualifying to start at 8 p.m.
Families are encouraged to take advantage of the family plan that the raceway has to offer. Any FAMILY (a family consists of a father, mother, and their OWN CHILDREN) will be admitted for the price of two adults only. The children no matter what age will be admitted for free. (discretion of the gate attendant is final)
The Last Lap radio program will begin again on May 19th. This 60 minute racing show will feature local as well as national racing news and stories. The program will also feature interviews from drivers and owners throughout the season.
The Last Lap will air on WTZN 1310 am THE ZONE on Monday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. The program will also air on the web at www.thezone.am.
