Blaney Cracks Top Ten, Rewards Sharon Speedway Fans With $9.00 Admission
Hartford, OH May 12, 2008 In celebration of an awesome run and an excellent ninth place finish at the Darlington International Raceway on Saturday, May 10th Sharon Speedway owner Dave Blaney has announced that grandstand admission at the Hartford, OH oval will be reduced to $9.00 for this Saturday's racing action.
"Myself and everyone on the CAT Team are excited about the good run that we had on Saturday," stated Blaney. "The fans in Western PA and Eastern OH have been very supportive of myself and the entire Bill Davis/Caterpillar Team and this is our way of thanking them for sticking by us through some trying time."
"Fantastic Five" racing action at the 3/8 mile oval will feature the Warren Harley-Davidson 410 Sprint Cars, the Gibson-Governor Insurance Agency Big Block Modifieds, the Tom's Sewer and Drain Service E-Mods, the Tight-Seal Glass Block Pure Stocks and the Limited Sprints. In addition Mark Thomas Ford will sponsor the trophies for all the feature event winners.
Fans who reside in Ashtabula County, OH and Mercer County, PA can take advantage of the new "County Nights" that will be featured at the speedway throughout the 2008 racing season. Grandstand admission for residents of these counties is just $5.00 on Saturday, May 17th.
School Spirit Saturdays will also continue as the Speedway hosts students from the Mathews and Bristol OH School Districts.
"Buckle Up and Hang On" as the Sharon Speedway presents Ohio's finest Saturday night racing action. Pit Gates open at 3:00PM with the Grandstand Gates opening at 4:00PM. The first green flag will wave promptly at 6:00PM.
