Limaland Cancels May 16 Race Event
Due to mid-week rain showers and limited drying time for the grounds, Limaland Motorsports Park officials have cancelled the Meet the Drivers Night races scheduled for Friday, May 16.
Next week's race event is the Memorial Cup. The EFI-NRA Sprint Invaders will be making their first outing of the season at Limaland on Friday, May 23. Joining the Sprint Invaders will be the Professional Computer Company UMP Modifieds and Bud Thunderstocks on the famed high-banked bullring. All three divisions will be battling in this special event for the Memorial Cup Title. As always the McDonald's Dash for Cash and the Smith-Boughan Cool Move of the Night will also be taking place. Hard Charger and Pass Master points will also be earned as drivers advance during the evening of racing.
Pit gates will open at 4:00 pm followed by the grandstand gates at 5:00 pm.
Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 with racing action to begin at 7:30.
