FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FRANKLIN, PA .Recognizing that gas prices are tough to swallow in
today's world, Tri-City Speedway and 4 Your Car Connection in Cranberry,
Pa., derived a unique way for a lucky race fan to earn a little extra
cash to fill that tank with the 2008 Dirtiest Car of the Week Award.
"The folks at 4 Your Car Connection contacted us about this
promotion," said Tri-City Co-Promoter Mike Graham. "We thought it was a great
way to have fun and give our fans a chance to win a little extra cash as
well."
Each week a select panel of judges will visit the parking lot during
the heat races and select the dirtiest passenger car, truck or other
vehicle. The winner will drive into victory lane to receive the
recognition of the race fans and an extra $50 courtesy of 4 Your Car
Connection. Fans are encouraged to make every effort to win the top prize. A fan
cannot win the award back-to-back and Tri-City's track officials,
employees and their families are not eligible for the award.
"We might see or smell some interesting stuff on the side of cars,"
laughed Graham. "We love having fun at Tri-City, and this is just
another way to get the fans involved in our show."
4 Your Car Connection is a well-known area car dealer located at the
corner of Routes 257 and 322 near the Cranberry Mall. In addition to
the Dirtiest Car of the Week Award, 4 Your Car Connection is the
division sponsor for the FASTRAK Late Models at Tri-City.
