LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 17) – IMCA drivers making the biggest move
toward the front and those loading up their race car early receive
awards from DJ Safety this season.
Both the hard charger and the hard luck driver at 30 designated
specials for IMCA Modifieds and at all 17 events in the Deery
Brothers Summer Series for IMCA J & J Steel Late Models get $150
product certificates from the Los Angeles-based manufacturer and
retailer.
Awards will be mailed directly from DJ Safety the week after the
event is held; an IMCA official attending the race will determine the
hard luck recipient.
“More dollar value has been added to the DJ Safety individual awards
this season, highlighted by the recogni tion of hard chargers and
hard luck recipients,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “For
two seasons DJ Safety has rewarded the top finishers at each event,
but this year they wanted to really spread the wealth to a different
segment of finishers.”
DJ Safety manufactures firesuits, seat belts, window nets, tie downs
and crew apparel, and also retails pro tective equipment including
helmets and visors, fire retardant gloves, boots and undergarments,
and fire sup pression systems.
Information about those products is available by calling 323 221-0000
