FONDA, NY - A steady persistent rain forced the cancellation of the racing program at the Fonda Speedway on Saturday evening May 17. Warm-ups were completed and the curfew delayed Sportsman feature from May 10 was called to the line when the rain started forcing the cancellation of the racing program.

Next Saturday May, 24 the first race of the Go Green NMX Fonda Thunder series will take place featuring a 40-lap feature event for the Modifieds paying $4000 to win.

Also on the racing program on Saturday, May 24 will be the curfew delayed Sportsman feature from May 10 along with all other divisions on Jumpin' Jack's Pro Speed Shop Night at the Track of Champions. Starting time will be 6:00 p.m.

Rain checks from May 17 can be turned in and $2 can be added with that to cover the $12 general grandstand admission for Saturday, May 24.
