Coleman awards to IMCA Modified, rookie racers

Posted by Tom Ames  |  05/19/08

MENOMINEE, Mich. (May 18) – Coleman Racing Products’ contingency
awards program for IMCA Modified drivers and rookie competitors in
the open wheeled class continues in 2008.

The Menominee, Mich., high performance parts manufacturer and
distributor will give $100 product certificates to the sixth through
10th place drivers in final point standings for each of the five
Modified ButlerBuilt regions.

All five regional rookies of the year earn their choice of an IMCA
legal minimum 19” J-bar or a panard bar with rod ends.

Information about Coleman products is available at the
www.colemanracing.com website, or by calling 800 221-1851.

“We started the J-bar program when the rule was changed a few years
back and its popularity has encouraged us to keep those awards in
place for regional rookies of the year,” said IMCA Marketing Director
Kevin Yoder. “Other top Modified regional finishers will still have
the choice to purchase any of the quality Coleman line of products.”
