Forestville, PA – May 19, 2008 – When the checkered flag fell on last season’s wingless USAC National Sprint Car Series feature at Big Diamond Raceway, fans were already talking about this year’s expected return. The time is vastly approaching.
For the second straight year, USAC makes an eastern swing and visits Big Diamond on Thursday evening June 5. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase an advance ticket, at $25, for this program. They will be available beginning this Friday May 24 and may also be picked up any Friday leading up to the event at the track pit area entrance, or on raceday.

By purchasing an advance ticket, it will allow you into the stands at 3:00PM on Thursday June 5. The regular general admission gates open at 4:00PM. If last year’s attendance is any indication, the 2008 show should find a packed grandstand.
The stars and cars of USAC will battle in qualifications, heat races, a 12-lap semi, and the $4000 to win 30-lap main event. Last year, current ARCA Stock Car competitor Ricky Stenhouse drove a Tony Stewart owned Maxim Chassis to the winner’s circle.
The non-winged ARDC Midgets will make their first of four scheduled ’08 appearances on this evening. Frank Polimeda won last year’s ARDC event as part of the double header and is expected back for the ’08 version.
