( Woodhull , NY ) The LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts sponsored Front Wheel Drive Division will run its first extra distance feature event of the year on Saturday, May 31 at the Woodhull Raceway. Track owner, Vern Wasson started the highly popular class at the beginning of the 2006 race season and the division has grown in leaps and bounds over the past two years. With full fields each week and more cars being built this true hobby class is popular with both the competitors as well as the fans. For the racers it is an affordable class in which to compete and for the fans it is exciting to watch the mighty four cylinder front wheel machines in action. In addition to the LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts FWD Special it will be a regular show of the L.J. Kennedy Trucking 358 Modifieds, the S&W Awards and Photos Crate Sportsman, the NAPA 360 Late Models along with the Signs Plus Mini Stocks and the Morgans Auto Repair Street Stock Division.
LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts of Woodhull will be the nightly event sponsor of the event as extra cash will be pumped into the nightly FWD purse compliments of Buck and P.J. LaBarron.
In addition representatives of the Elmira Bottling Company will be back to promote their Mt. Dew drink beverage after an earlier season rainout. Several Pepsi t-shirts and Mt. Dew Frisbees will be handed out to the fans and a brand new kids bicycle will go out to a lucky youngster as well all compliments of Pepsi and Mt. Dew .
