This Sunday, May 25 Ferris Mowers presents the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series “Hall of Fame 76” at Cayuga County Fair Speedway. The 76-lap affair marks the fourth event of the season for the Advance Auto Parts Tour. The mighty DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, and Midstate Vintage Modifieds will take the green at 7pm.
Pit windows will open at 4pm, with grandstand admission beginning at 5pm.
Personal Seat Licenses continue to be available. Along with your personalized seat, you will also receive four DIRTcar “5-Packs.” Each 5pak coupon is good for (1) admission to all regular season events. For special events, each coupon can be used as a $12 credit towards admission.
Providing another great deal for fans, single purchases of “5-Pack” tickets can be purchased for $48.
Tickets for this special event will be made available at the gate. Adult general admission is set at $20, $18 for Seniors (Age 65+), $5 for children (Ages 10-14), and those under the age of 9 are FREE.
After rain showers forced the cancellation of last weekend’s racing at Cayuga County Fair Speedway, the Weedsport oval will come back alive after a three weeks absence with the 800-hp ground pounding Big-Block Modified Tour. Previous tour winners Matt Sheppard, Billy Decker, Dale Planck and point leader Brett Hearn will all be on hand to try and master the slick and tricky 3/8-mile oval.
Last season’s Memorial Day contest was rained out, but the tour returned twice later in the year for Twin feature events. Danny Johnson, Tim Fuller, Decker, and Alan Johnson visited victory lane and look to return in 2008.
The DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, and Midstate Vintage Modifieds join the card making for an action packed Sunday night of racing.
Don’t forget that the Northeast Modified Hall of Fame and Classic Car Museum also officially re-opens this weekend with its 17th annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Doors will open at 11am for the general public before the Hall of Fame festivities begin at 1:30pm.
