Weedsport, NY – May 21, 2008 – By Dan Kapuscinski, Canandaigua Speedway PR and Promotions Coordinator
This Saturday’s Petrol-Palooza Night at Canandaigua Speedway will have a little something extra for race fans. As a part of their promotion for the June 8th Camping World Series event, Watkins Glen International Speedway will be on hand with the no. 33 Camping World sponsored Kevin Harvick Inc. NASCAR Nationwide Series show car.
The display will also feature a 24’ show car trailer pulled by a WGI decaled Toyota Tundra show truck. Watkins Glen also plans to provide two racing simulators for kids and adults alike.
Fans will also have the opportunity to win four tickets to the Camping World Series event at Watkins Glen on June 8th. Tickets will be made available after the DIRTcar Sportsman Modified main event, as a part of the weekly 50/50 raffle.
The Camping World Series, formerly known as the Busch East/North Series, is one of the top breeding grounds for up and coming NASCAR talent. Cheer on your local heroes as they try to rise in the NASCAR ranks.
Saturday’s racing gets underway at 7pm with the DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, and PureStox. Remember, buy your first admission Saturday night at the regular rate, and get the second for just $4.00!
Adult admission is $12, Seniors (65+) $10, children (10-14) $5, and kids (9 and under) FREE.
