This Friday night is "Spring Championship" night at Thunder Mountain Speedway. With the championship status comes an extra $50 for the feature winners as well as double points. It will be a draw format, with a little bit of an added twist for the championship feature line-ups. After the heats the fields will re-draw, and then there will will be a stick drawn to determine whether the feature events will go straight-up, invert half or invert entire line-up! Additionally DOUG'S TRASH REMOVAL in Groton, N,Y. has added an extra $100 to the "Hurricane" Street Stock/Pure Stock BOUNTY that has been placed on driver Steven "Hoss" Deinhardt in the WHEELER BLACKTOPPING and CONSTRUCTION #73. This added BOUNTY money will bring the potential winners share to $550 for taking home the "Spring Championship" in the "Hurricane"Street Stock/Pure Stock division, but remember Deinhardt must finish on the lead lap. Last Friday night Afton, N.Y. driver Curt Decker in the HANK DECKER LOGGING #89 came ever so close to claiming the bounty money, but had to settle for 2nd place.
