Rusty Wallace Auto Group presents $3,000-to-win 'Pontiac Excitement 50' on Saturday, May 31 at Volunteer Speedway
BULLS GAP, Tenn. — Rusty Wallace Auto Group of Morristown presents the "Pontiac Excitement 50" ... $3,000-to-win Super Late Model event on Saturday, May 31, with racing that night also scheduled in Rusty Wallace Toyota Hobby Stock and IMCA Open Wheel Modified.
A strong contingent of the top East Tennessee region Super Late Model competitors is expected to be present. The top-16 Super Late Models from qualifying will be locked into the Pontiac Excitement 50, with last chance consolation(s) determining starting positions 17-24. There will be a $50 entry fee.
The pit gate will open Saturday, May 31 at 4 p.m. and the grandstand gate at 5 p.m. Drivers' meeting will take place at 6:15 p.m. Hotlaps are tentatively scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m., to be followed by qualifying at 7:30 p.m., with feature racing getting the green flag around 8:30 p.m.
Adult grandstand admission $10, youth (ages 10-15) $5, children 9-and-under admitted free in the grandstands when accompanied by an adult. Pit passes and backside tier-parking $30 for all ages.
