BROWNSBURG, Ind. (June 2) – Main event winners at more IMCA special
events receive contingency awards from Impact Racing in 2008.
The Brownsburg, Ind., helmet and safety equipment manufacturer will
award $100 product certificates to first-place finishers at 80
specials this season.
In addition to the 17 races on the Deery Brothers Summer Series for J
& J Steel Late Models schedule, Impact prizes go to winners of
designated specials for the Modified, IMCA KSE Racing Products Sprint
Car, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod, Southern SportMod, and IMCA
Sunoco Stock Car and Hobby Stock divisions.
All winners will be pooled into a post-season drawing for product
awards. The grand prize package includes an SA2005 helmet and
driver’s suit, gloves and shoes. Also to be given by drawing are a
driver’s suit, gloves and shoes, and an SA2005 helmet.
Clayton Christensen of Spencer, Iowa, Cory Struckhoff of Kensington,
Kan., and Andy Gregg of Hastings, Neb., were winners of drawings held
last December.

“In an ongoing effort to emphasize driver safety, Impact Racing has
teamed up with IMCA once again to give significant awards packages at
season’s end,” said Kevin Yoder, IMCA marketing director. “In

an upgrade in their safety equipment from a premier manufacturer in
the industry, and for that we are very appreciative.”
