WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (June 3) – Drivers in a second IMCA division
competing with Mitchell Machine-made transmissions are in the running
for contingencies from the Webster City, Iowa, manufacturer this
season.
Mitchell adds Modified awards to its 2008 program, complementing
prizes for IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers introduced in 2007.
Top eligible finishers, based on final point standings, in all five
Modified regions and both Stock Car regions, receive new transmissions.
Drivers finishing second and third in regional point races in both
divisions earn $100 product certificates.
In addition to filling out and returning a sign-up form to the IMCA
home office by Aug. 1, drivers in each class must display two
Mitchell Machine decals on their race car.
More information about Mitchell products and services is available by
calling 515 297-3333 or at the www.bullettranny.com website.
“Modified and Stock Car drivers have a number of excellent choices
when it comes to which transmission to purchase, and Mitchell Machine
wants racers to know their product is as competitive and affordable
as any of them,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Not only
that, but seven lucky customers will have a chance to win a free one
at season’s end.”
