As always don’t count out Matt Sheppard and young guns Larry Wight and Ryan Phelps as they all sit comfortably inside the top ten in the Modified point chase.
The DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds saw two first time winners at Cayuga County Fair Speedway last weekend. James Friesen and Tim Currier each took legs of the Town Mechanical/Taylor Rental Twin 20’s, adding their names to Weedsport win list. Currier now leads the point battle by one marker over Kevin Ridley. James Friesen, Tom Juhl, and Jeremy Pitcher all sit in a tie for third in the very tight Sportsman battle.
Adam Depuy picked up the win last weekend in the first Parts Plus Big 6 Street Stock Series event of the season. However, Wayne Ellison is the track point leader ahead of Steve Woodworth, and Nick Rizzo.
Nick Werner garnered his second BattleKarz main event win of the season last Sunday night. The win pulls him into the point lead ahead of Barb Amadon and Karl Werner
