Thorold, Ontario (June 11) – KC Auto Parts Victory Lane saw 3 drivers win their third straight Merrittville Speedway Kart Features June 10th.
Joshua Hanson, Jacob Lutz and James Moll each won in the Drummond Home Hardware Garden City Auto Complex Novice 1, RCM Racing Equipment Cassell Manufacturing Junior 1 and Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Divisions respectively.
In other Original Pizza Logs Divisional action, Matthew Farnham and Aaron Barker added to their 2008 win totals with both earning their second straight triumphs in the Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted and Philbrick Farm & Garden Equipment Senior Medium Divisions.
Fourth generation driver Dylan Davidson rounded out the winners – the rookie driver earning his 5th of the season in the KC Auto Parts Novice 2 Division.
The new PartSource Masters Division continues to run with the Senior Mediums and Bob Duhow was credited with first place points.
Merrittville Speedway’s Kart Club will join the Saturday June 14th DIRT Weekly Racing Series Stock Car Program – a presentation of SMS Machine. Karters wishing to participate should confirm with the Speedway Office.
Kart Racing continues Tuesday June 17. Gates open at 5:00 with racing beginning at 7:00. Grandstand admission is free.
