NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (June 14) – Three IMCA divisions are on the card
next Tuesday, for the June 17 Run For The Money special at Lincoln
County Raceway.
The IMCA Modified feature doubles as a Larry Shaw Racing Blood, Sweat
and Tears Series event, with $1,000 paid to win and a minimum of
$100 to start the 2009 Fast Shafts All-Star ballot qualifier. IMCA
Sunoco Stock Cars vie for $500 to win while top prize for the IMCA
Sunoco Hobby Stocks is $250.
Tow money is $75 for Modifeds, $50 for the Stocks and $40 for the
Hobbies.
All three features will start 20 cars. IMCA national, regional,
Smiley’s Racing Products State and local track points will be awarded.
Pit gates at North Platte open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and
racing starts at 7 p.m.
Entry fee is $25 and pit passes are $20. Grandstand admission is $12
for adults and $6 for kids, with five and under admitted free.
