Fremont Speedway Shuffle eligibility expanded

FREMONT, Ohio - In an effort to entice more drivers to take the "Fremont
Speedway Shuffle," the rules governing who is eligible for the challenge
have been altered.

In the Fort Ball Pizza Palace 410 Sprints, the "Shuffle" challenge will
still be offered to the front row starters. If either the pole-sitter or the
outside front row starter decide to move back to the 10th (pole-starter) or
11th starting spot (outside front row starter) and can storm through the
pack and get the win, they would earn an extra $1,000 for a $3,500 payday!

In the Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints and Fremont Fence Dirt
Trucks, anyone of the top six in that week's average points could get the
opportunity to take the "Shuffle." Each regular season race night, Fremont
Speedway Trophy Queen Callie Dewald will draw one playing card from among an
ace to a six. The driver starting in that position in the feature will be
given the opportunity to take the challenge and move to the row behind that
night's inversion. For the 305 sprints, that inversion will either be a 6, 8
or 10 and for the trucks that inversion will either be an 8, 10 or 12.

If the driver eligible accepts the "Shuffle" challenge in the 305 sprints
and/or trucks, they could win an extra $500!

"We have been getting feedback from a lot of the drivers on the Fremont
Speedway Shuffle. Many felt it punished the driver who is leading the
average points each week and quite a few said they would love to take the
challenge, but felt they might not ever get the opportunity. We hope the new
system gives more drivers the chance to take the challenge and put on a show
for our fans," said Fremont Speedway Co-Promoter Andy James.

"We want to give that money away...because if we do, that means a driver put
on one heck of a drive and that creates fun and excitement," added Rich
Farmer, co-promoter.
