John Kinsey update 6-18-08

KINSEY UPDATE
For immediate release June 18, 2008
STRONGSTOWN, PA - As John Kinsey and his wife Pam were heading home from Dog Hollow Speedway last Friday night, Friday the 13th reared its ugly head when they were involved in a fatal crash on state Route 22 in Derry Township.
Terry Rhine, 58 of Homer City died in the crash, after his vehicle crossed the center line and struck one vehicle then hit the Kinsey vehicle head-on. Unconfirmed reports are that Mr. Rhine fell asleep.
Recently race car driver Jason McCulough visited his friends, the Kinseyβ€˜s, at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh, where the couple was transported to following transport to Latrobe Hospital after the crash.
According to Mr. McCullough, Mr. Kinsey has two broken ankles, two broken legs and a broken pelvis. He also has injuries to his elbow.
His wife suffered a fractured skill and the hospital has placed a plate in her head, she also has a broken jaw and lost all of her bottom teeth.
Mr. Kinsey is still listed in serious condition, but hospital officials were considering upgrading his condition. Mrs. Kinsey is still serious but both are expected to make a full recovery.
Mrs. Kinsey celebrated her birthday on Tuesday and hospital officials made sure they were in the same room.
Kinsey is fourth in the Street Stock points at Dog hollow Speedway and just finished third that night.
