The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will take the ‘ Land of Legends ’ by storm for the very first time on Tuesday, June 24th. The event will be race number five of the ‘Great Northern Tour’ for the Outlaws stars and cars. The BRP Late Models will also join the card making for a double-header of full fender action. Racing will get underway at 7pm.

Pit gates will open at 2pm on Tuesday with grandstand admission beginning at 4pm.

The Outlaws will be competing in the “Turner Automotive 50” presented by Ferris Mowers. A full compliment of time trials, heat races, and B-main will be followed by the highly anticipated 50-lap Main Event. The BRP Late Models will also run through a full evening of qualifying activities before moving to their 30-lap feature go.

The most unique detail of the evening should be watching several local Big-Block Modified heroes taking their chances against the best the Outlaws have to offer. Tim McCreadie and Vic Coffey will come out of the Sweeteners Plus stable, while Tim Fuller and Billy Decker will pilot LJL Racing entries. Danny Johnson too will be in the line-up, adding to a star studded Big-Block roster trying to knock off the Outlaws as they come into New York State .

The Outlaw regulars of Steve Francis, Josh Richards, Chub Frank, Shannon Babb, and Darrell Lanigan will all try to prevent that as they race around the Canandaigua Speedway oval for the very first time.

Last season, the Outlaws visited Cayuga County Fair Speedway and put on a tremendous show. Chub Frank rolled into victory lane that evening, and will look to defend his victory a little further down the New York State Thruway at the ‘Land of Legends’ Tuesday night.

Tickets for this once a year event can be reserved over the phone by calling the DIRTcar Northeast office, while general admission tickets will be made available at the gate. Reserved tickets are set at $27, while adult general admission is $25, Seniors (Age 65+) $23, $8 for children (Ages 10-14), and those under the age of 9 are FREE.
