LITTLE VALLEY SPEEDWAY NEXT STOP FOR THE T3 ALL STAR SERIES FOR 358 MODIFIEDS PRESENTED BY TROYER RACE CARS.
An added two race point fund set up for both of the Little Valley 2008 events co-sponsored by the track along with Wilkins RV of Bath.
(Woodhull, NY) Round two of the 2008 T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars is all set to take place on Thursday, July 3 at the Little Valley Speedway. It will be the first time that the small block modified touring group has been included in the pre-July 4 schedule of events at the Cattaraugus County speed plant located in Little Valley, NY.
Due to the overwhelming response of 358 Modifieds at last years season ending event at Little Valley, the management of the Cattaraugus County Fair Board immediately locked in two dates for the 2008 season with the first event on Thursday, July 3 and the second date scheduled for Saturday, September 20.
In addition to competing for Little Valley’s healthy purses at both events as well as the valuable T3 All Star Series points, racers will also be vying for an additional $1,500 in overall added incentive monies for both of the Little Valley events.
Here’s how it works. The top five drivers that have the best overall cumulative finishing spots for both Little Valley races will share in the $1,500 bonus package. The Little Valley Speedway along with Wilkins RV of Bath will both pump money into the added point fund. The incentive program is based on Little Valley completing both of the T3 All Star Series events scheduled for this season. If one event or the other is lost for whatever reason the bonus package will be null and void.
In a joint announcement by representatives of the Little Valley Speedway along with the promotional team of the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars it was revealed that the incentive program is being posted to reward the drivers commitment to both events at Little Valley. The general feeling is that the 358 race teams have shown their support to Little Valley throughout the past several years and with the addition of the bonus incentive program it will reward five of the drivers that make the commitment to both events. Drivers from as far away as Mercer, the Niagara Frontier, the Binghamton area, New Jersey, Central Pa. and several points in between have indicated they will be at Little Valley
In addition to the T3 All Star Series 358 Modifieds, the ULMS Super Late Models will see action along with the Super, Street and Mini Stock Divisions. Several drivers that compete at the Woodhull Raceway in the 360 Late Model and Mini Stock Classes have already indicated there plans on attending the July 3 event at L.V.
Gates open at 3:00 pm with racing at 7:00 pm. A huge fireworks program will wrap-up the night of events and camping is allowed on the grounds.
