DONNELLSON, Iowa (June 23) – IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock
Cars top Lee County’s July 3 Liberty Cup special.
Modifieds run for a top check of $1,500 in their 2009 Fast Shafts All-
Star Invitational ballot qualifying event, while the Stocks vie for
$1,000 in first place money at Donnellson. All applicable IMCA points
will be awarded in both divisions.
Entry fees are $50 for Modifieds and $35 for Stocks if paid by June
30, or $60 for Modifieds and $45 for Stocks after that date. Entry
forms are available at the www.leecountyspeedway.com website.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (60 and
over), $7 for students 11-17 and 10 and under are admitted free. Pit
passes are $25.
Pit gates and the grandstand both open at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 7
p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.
Cutoff for the draw is 6:30 p.m. Drivers who can’t be at the track by
then can call 319 835-5523 on race day and an official will draw for
them.
