UMP Street Stocks to Run June 29th at Cayuga County Fair Speedway

All UMP Street Stock competitors and fans should plan on attending Cayuga County Fair Speedway this Sunday, June 29th as the full-fender machines are on the racing schedule. Last Sunday night, 22 Street Stocks took the green flag making for an exciting night of racing.
“We were very pleased to have that kind of Street Stock turn out last week,” said General Manager, Jack Deery. “There has been some confusion as to whether or not the Street Stocks are on the schedule for this coming Sunday. We want to end that confusion now, by letting everyone know that the UMP Street Stocks will be racing this Sunday night. We truly look forward to it.”
Defending track champion Nick Rizzo in the no. 115 picked up last week’s feature win over Bubba Burnell and Dan Hoffman Sr. With the win, Rizzo moves to second in the point standings just 9-markers behind current leader Wayne Ellison in the no. 18.
Joining the Street Stocks Sunday night on Summit Auto/Army National Guard “Freedom Night” will be the DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, BattleKarz, and CNYMS Sprints. A huge fire fireworks display will also be on tap with racing beginning at 7pm.
