GREGORIC, SENEK AND D’AMBROSIO WIN SECOND MERRITTVILLE
KART FEATURES OF SEASON – BLACK, LUTZ AND MOORADIAN ALSO SEE CHECKERS

Thorold, Ontario (June 24) – Merrittville Speedway’s Lucas Oil Kart Weekly Racing Series saw three drivers make their second visits of 2008 to KC Auto Parts Victory Lane June 24th.
Little Gene Gregoric made a big move on the last lap to win his 2nd KC Auto Parts Novice 2 Feature of the season. Two other two time winners were Brett Senek and Bobby D’Ambrosio in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 and Philbrick Farm & Garden Equipment Senior Medium Divisions respectively.
Cierra Black joined Joshua Hanson as a three time winner in the Drummond Home Hardware Garden City Auto Complex Novice 1 Division. Hanson looked like quite a veteran after realizing his kart was broken during the parade lap and pulled off. Smart move by a youngster who just started racing this spring.
In other Original Pizza Logs Divisional action, Jacob Lutz is starting to show signs of the incredible season he enjoyed last season in winning his 6th RCM Racing Equipment Cassell Manufacturing Junior 1
Feature of the season.
Connor Mooradian is also having quite a season – earning his 5th Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Heavy Feature of the year as well.
Although still running with the Senior Medium awaiting more competitors, Mike Journeaux was credited with first place points in the PartSource Masters Division.
Merrittville Speedway’s Lucas Oil Kart Weekly Racing Series is approaching it’s busiest stretch of the season. Kart Racing continues Tuesday July 1st with the final Spring Series Event.
Gates open at 5:00 with racing beginning at 7:00. Grandstand admission is free.
A Sunday Special Event July 6th sees Performance Manufacturing and Slack Performance Karts presenting the Burris Tire 50 Twenty-five.
The 2008 Summer Series opens Tuesday July 7th.
