Swarthout Recycling and Bully Hill Vineyards team up to present Empire Super Sprints at the Woodhull Raceway

SWARTHOUT RECYCLING AND BULLY HILL VINEYARDS TEAM UP TO PRESENT THE EMPIRE SUPER SPRINTS AT THE WOODHULL RACEWAY.



Saturday, July 12 event will also feature a Regular Big 6 Show plus the return of the Mid-State Vintage Cars.



(Woodhull, NY) Two very high profile companies will tag team as sponsors one of the biggest nights of the 2008 season at the Woodhull Raceway. The Swarthout Family of Beaver Dams is pleased to announce that through their family owned business, Swarthout Recycling that they will co-sponsor the ESS program along with the Bully Hill Vineyards of Hammondsport. Bully Hill, a long time sponsor of the Bully Hill Vineyards 360 Fall Sprint Nationals is certainly no stranger to winged sprint car action as their involvement in the northeast racing circles runs wide and deep. The name Bully Hill has been attached to numerous events and car sponsorships at the famed Watkins Glen International Raceway and for the past two seasons Bully Hill Vineyards has been the driving force behind the Annual Fall Shoot-out at the Woodhull Raceway. Bully Hill Vineyards is the Official Winery of the Woodhull Raceway as their wine products are proudly served in the weekly VIP lounge areas. Bully Hill Vineyards is located on Greyton H. Taylor Drive just outside of Hammondsport overlooking beautiful Keuka Lake. On site at Bully Hill is a museum, gift shop, tasting room, retail shop and restaurant. Tours and tastings area available 7 days per week.

For Swarthout Recycling it will be their first ever appearance as a nightly event sponsor at the famed Woodhull Raceway. Brian Swarthout is a standout 358 Modified pilot and an occasional Woodhull Raceway competitor. Swarthout Recycling is also a major point fund contributor to the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars as well as helping to sponsor numerous race teams that compete throughout the region including Steve Paine of Waterloo. Swarthout Recycling is one of upstate New York’s largest dealers of scrap metal and the company also handles other recyclables including cardboard and newspaper. Swarthout Recycling recently purchased an all new state of the art shredder truck which is used for the proper shredding of personal, legal and confidential documents. The shredding unit will be displayed at Woodhull on July 12 and for any individuals wishing to see a demonstration then can do so. Also, as part of the promotion, anyone can bring items to the track that they would like shredded and Swarthout Recycling will do it for free from 3:00 until 5:00 pm on the day of the event.

In addition to the Empire Super Sprints it will be a full card of the L.J. Kennedy Trucking 358 Modifieds, the NAPA 360 Late Models, the S&W Awards and Photos Crate Sportsman along with the Morgan’s Auto Repair Street Stocks, the Signs Plus Mini Stocks and the LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts FWD Division. To fill out the card the Mid-State Vintage Cars will make their annual trek to the high banked one-third of a mile clay oval.

Gates for the July 12, 2008 open at 4:30 with racing at 6:30.
