The following is a notice to all New Egypt Speedway Sportsman and
Modified competitors from the NES Management team. Please read
carefully. Any questions can be directed to the speedway office at

To all NES Sportsman & Modified competitors:
As was stated in the drivers meeting Sat.,
6/28/08, all modified & sportsman cars will meet
all body specs as outlined in the 2008 NES
rulebook by this Saturday, 7/5/08. Body
dimensions will have a 1 tolerance maximum on all vertical
measurements to allow for changing chassis heights, etc. Cars will be
checked randomly for compliance to these rules and if they are found
to be in violation they will be given the option to comply before
they are allowed to compete or if found to be in violation post race
then penalties will result.
There will be no exceptions!!!
We ask our competitors to double check their cars against the
rulebook to be sure they are complete compliance of the rules. Thank
you all in advance.
