King of the Monster Trucks Coming to Penn Can Speedway
Susquehanna, PA…Prepare for a night of destruction at Penn Can Speedway in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania on Friday July 18th when the King of the Monster Trucks, Big Foot, headlines Monster Jam 2008. Joining Big Foot on this night of destruction will be the national ranked monster truck Thrasher driven by popular Pat Summa. Also on the card will be the amazing Viper, the same truck seen on television.
Racing will also be on the schedule with the late models, sportsman, super stocks, pure stocks, and four cylinders will all be in action. Weekly Penn Can Speedway feature some of the best oval track racing in the area with thrilling side by side action. With the season at the halfway mark, the point battles in all divisions are as tight as can being. You won’t want to miss a night of racing at the fast Susquehanna County oval.
Monster truck destruction will not be the only thing to thrill the crowd when the KRS Motorsports show takes center stage on the front stretch at Penn Can Speedway. The high flying monster trucks will be joined in action by the ever popular King Kong Knevil. This motorcycle daredevil is sure to excite the younger fans as he tries stunts on his motorcycle in front of the crowd. The kids will love his brand of entertainment.
The night will begin with monster truck rides provided by KRS Motorsports. The special ride truck will be running before and after the truck performance. Another attraction of the evening will be a “Meet and Greet” autograph session with the monster truck drivers in back of the main grandstand.
Gates will open at Penn Can Speedway at 5:15 with racing at 7:15 . The Night of Destruction will be after all qualifying is compete and before the feature races. Monster truck rides will begin at 5:15 and continue up to racing. They will begin again after the monster truck show concludes. A special monster truck course will be set up through out the speedway property so not to interfere with the racing action.
