POST-RACE QUOTES & NOTES:
Donny Schatz, driver of the No. 15 Armor All/Chevy/ParkerStore/J&J for TSR:
ˇ§It was a good last week and a very good month. Iˇ¦m glad to put the Armor All machine in victory lane on Friday and Sunday night to keep building on our winning streak. We have things rolling, so to speak. These guys are on top of their game and we are where we need to be at the right time. The hard part is trying to continue that.
ˇ§We faced a little adversity in Grand Forks (River Cities Raceway), but all the guys on this Tony Stewart Racing team never gave up. Ricky Warner, Shane Bowers and Kyle Sundby gave a great car, and after starting 11th we won the race. On Sunday at Cedar Lake (Speedway), things worked to our favor and we ended up starting on the pole. We used some information from our team car for the feature. Last year, the Bass Pro Shops No. 20 car won the feature at Cedar Lake, and we compared notes trying to have the best car possible. It was a team win, for sure.
ˇ§Weˇ¦ve got another big week ahead and with the calendar turning to July, we know the big money races are coming shortly, so itˇ¦s time to be at our best.ˇ¨
Kraig Kinser, driver of the No. 20 Bass Pro Shops/Chevy/J.D. Byrider Maxim for TSR:
ˇ§We had another week where the first part of the night really sets the tone for the rest of the evening for us. Itˇ¦s just how things have been going for us. Weˇ¦re struggling to get qualified, and when you donˇ¦t qualify well, you don't have a chance at starting up front.
ˇ§These guys have made the Bass Pro Shops Chevy car really good for the feature each night, but we canˇ¦t make up the ground we lose early in the night. Itˇ¦s hard to show any progress when you start in back in every night. The competition with this series is so tough, and weˇ¦re doing everything we can to get better.ˇ¨
